LIBRARY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Do you love crafts? Our librarian, Holly Friel, needs 1-2 parent volunteers to lead weekly craft activities at lunch in the library 1-2 days per week from 11:45am-1:15pm.  Can be any day that works for you, except Wednesdays. No experience necessary. We have the supplies, just need the volunteers! Please email if you are interested.

2019 SFUSD ARTS FESTIVAL: The San Francisco Unified School District proudly presents the SFUSD Arts Festival; a celebration of student creativity in visual, literary, media, and performing arts hosted by the Asian Art Museum in the Civic Center from April 27-May 5, 2019. (The museum will be open on Monday, April 30th for school groups only.) For over 30 years this unique San Francisco event has been a point of destination for families, teachers, artists, and community members from San Francisco and beyond. The promise of equity and access in arts education for all students preK-12 during the curricular day, made real by the SFUSD’s groundbreaking Arts Education Master Plan, finds its point of destination in this festival, where all who attend may see for themselves the inspiration and creativity inherent in all of our youngest San Franciscans! Festival admission is free and includes access to the museum's collection and special exhibition galleries. Have a little time and want to volunteer, sign up here:

High School Info Night with PPS-SF (for current 7th grade Families): As you may have heard, many 8th Grade families are not happy that their student didn’t get into the high school of their choice.  Parent for Public Schools will be hosting an event to so 7th grade parents can start learning about High School Applications NOW. This will help you be prepared when you return to school in August. Come join us on 4/29/19 at 6pm in the Library.

Presidio Middle School Year End Party at Dave & Buster's: Please join us on Monday, 5/20/19 for our year end party at Dave & Buster's. Please RSVP here. 8TH GRADE END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES: Packets are due signed by both parents and students on April 3rd. Community Service hours (2 hours total) are due by May 23rd before the 8th grade picnic. Hours must have been completed from August 2018-May 2019.

8TH GRADE PARENTS: Are you a parent of an 8th grader and interested in helping plan end of the year 8th grade activities? This would entail helping plan the 8th grade field trip, graduation dinner and dance, and other activities. E-mail Ms. Jenny at if you are interested!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION.  Join Camp Beacon for a summer full of sports, cooking, field trips and all kinds of summer silliness! This camp is available to all rising middle school students.
