SPRING ORCHESTRA AND GUITAR CONCERT: Our Spring Orchestra and Guitar Concert will be held THIS THURSDAY, May 9 at 7PM in the auditorium.  Come out and support our young musicians. Please plan to take public transportation if possible as there is minimal street parking available.

YEARBOOKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE: Yearbooks are still available to purchase at www.treering.com.  Please use activation code: 1015372493931878 if you have not logged in previously.

ATTENTION 6TH & 7TH GRADE STUDENTS: If you are currently in an Elective Wheel, Peer Resource or Guitar class, this week you will have the opportunity to put course requests for next year's electives through a bitly form online.  The grade level counselors will go over the options available. LIBRARY DONATIONS WANTED: There are 2 ways to donate, 1. MATH AND ENGLISH TUTORING: PEL Learning Center.  Mention the Presidio Bulletin and your student will receive a free Math and English Test and Analysis ($60 Value).  If you sign up, for tutoring by May 31, PEL will donate 10%, of the first month, to Presidio. John O’Connell Spring Showcase: If you’re interested in hearing more about John O’Connell and their career pathways attend their Spring showcase on May 16th from 4:30-6:30. This is a great opportunity to hear more about career pathways and see some awesome final projects created by sophomores and juniors!

Presidio Middle School Year End Party at Dave & Buster's: Please join us on Monday, 5/20/19 for our year end party at Dave & Buster's. Please RSVP here. PRESIDIO PTSA SPOTLIGHT

FUNDRAISING CHAIR:  Commitment is 1-2 hours a month. Two evening meetings a month. Attending scheduled events and planning fundraising for the Panther Pride Fund. No experience necessary. 8TH GRADE END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES: Packets are due signed by both parents and students on April 3rd. Community Service hours (2 hours total) are due by May 23rd before the 8th grade picnic. Hours must have been completed from August 2018-May 2019.


8TH GRADE PARENTS: Are you a parent of an 8th grader and interested in helping plan end of the year 8th grade activities? This would entail helping plan the 8th grade field trip, graduation dinner and dance, and other activities. E-mail Ms. Jenny at herttuaj@sfusd.edu if you are interested!

8th Graders - Are you interested in giving a speech at this year’s promotion? There will be 1 session of tryouts for the promotion speeches. Speech tryouts will be on Wednesday, May 8th, in Mr. Parr’s room (108). Speeches are limited to strict time of 2-minutes or less.

8th graders needing community service hours: There is an opportunity starting May 6th for community service hours, here at Presidio, after school 3:30-4:00pm. All of the graduation gowns need to be sorted and washed for promotion. Please sign up with Ms. Jenny if you are interested.

Calling all multilingual speakers! Are you interested in doing a formal greeting on stage for promotion in another language? Please see Ms. Jenny for more information and information on practice times.

BEACON AFTER SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS OPEN!  The registration fee for the 2019-2020 school year will be seeing a slight increase, with a rate of $15.00 for Fall and $15.00 for Spring. MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION.  Join Camp Beacon for a summer full of sports, cooking, field trips and all kinds of summer silliness! This camp is available to all rising middle school students.
